VEC Comment Automation

Data Deletion

Last updated: August 21, 2026

If you commented on one of Van Every Family Chiropractic Center's Instagram posts and received an automated private reply from VEC Comment Automation, here is how to have the data associated with that interaction deleted.

What we hold on you: your Instagram-scoped user ID and the comment/message metadata (comment ID, media ID, timestamp, matched keyword, delivery status) tied to that one interaction. See our Privacy Policy for full detail.

Option 1 — Ask us directly

Either of the following works:

We will locate and delete the stored comment/message metadata tied to your Instagram user ID within 30 days of your request and confirm back to you once it's done.

Option 2 — Revoke the app's access to your account

You can also remove the app's ability to interact with your account at any time through Instagram's own settings: open Instagram → Settings → Apps and Websites (or Security → Apps and Websites on older versions), find "VEC Comment Automation," and remove it. This immediately stops any further replies to you and, on our side, triggers the same deauthorize handling described in our Privacy Policy — outbound sends for that connection stop and stored tokens for the connection are invalidated.

Note: this Instagram-side control revokes the app's access on Meta's platform. To also have your specific interaction data deleted from our database, use Option 1 above so we can locate and remove the record tied to your account.

What happens automatically, without any request

Even without a deletion request, we do not keep data indefinitely: raw webhook receipts are pruned after 30 days, and records tied to a completed reply are pruned after 90 days. See our Privacy Policy for the full retention schedule.
